Bio
Planetate started in the summer of 2011 once all the members finally came together after years of searching and writing done by Bryce Holland a former John Doe member. Soon after Andrew Buchanan a former A Sight For Sewn Eyes member, joined to assume the role of vocalist also helping Bryce continue the search and writing process.

A lot of time went by with no one else stepping up to join Planetate until the summer of 2011 when a mutual friend introduced us to Matt Cormier a spry young whipper snapper and an amazing drummer. With this addition production of the songs that were written and new songs started at a neck breaking speed.

The next thing we did was jump right into the studio to record our 2011 3 track self titled demo and just plastered it all over the internet to try and get us noticed and to try and pull in a second guitar player. It wasn't until January 2012 that we met Caleb Craig through an ad he had on a local classified ads site. We tried him out right away and saw that he was going to be the best fit for our band.
