Artist Detailed Info: Patrick Sassone

Patrick Sassone is a singer, songwriter, musician and actor. He was born in Blue Island, Illinois, U.S.A. and began music lessons at the early age of five. Patrick’s passion for music quickly took flight. At thirteen he began to teach himself to play the guitar and would practice his singing on the way to the bus stop before school each morning. Fueled by his new found love for music and singing, songwriting quickly followed. He found freedom in his music, that has lasted a lifetime. Patrick soon formed his first band with two of his cousins. By the time he was seventeen, he was the lead guitarist and songwriter for a group called “Society’s Children’. The group released it’s first single “Mister Genie Man” and found immediate success on local stations. “Mister Genie Man” has been included on 3 independent compilation discs since then and is still popular today. What very few people know is that the female lead vocalist for “Society’s Children” was none other than Patrick’s mother, Doreen. Doreen was a powerful performer in her own right. He soon became a member of B.M.I.

Patrick continued to write and perform throughout the years in Illinois and California. He moved to Arizona many years ago and continued to write and perform. By taking intermittent breaks in his music career it helped to fuel his creativity. Even then he continued to write throughout the years because it is where his feelings can find true freedom of expression. Patrick’s relocation to Arizona broadened his horizons and opened up a whole new life for him. He found new adventures that gave him experiences beyond even his own imagination. Patrick continues to this day to live in Arizona with his family.

Along the way Patrick had an opportunity to get involved in acting and continues to pursue that adventure when possible. He has worked on numerous film and television projects. His music was included in a national award winning independent film.

Patrick considers himself very lucky to have had the success he’s had with both music and acting . He always wanted to express his inner being and leave a legacy of music that everyone could enjoy. Patrick’s passion for his music, love of family and countless adventures has given him a life beyond even his own expectations.
