Olkoth is a black/death metal band from Columbia, South Carolina, formed in 2016 by guitarist and vocalist Zach Jeter and the late drummer Vance Jeffcoat. Following Jeffcoat's death in 2017, Jeter rebuilt the lineup with guitarist Hunter Ross and bassist/vocalist Alex Rush, continuing the band's vision of creating a brutal and distinctive fusion of black and death metal.

Olkoth's sound combines crushing death metal, blackened atmosphere, furious riffing and intricate guitar work, with occasional flashes of thrash and a strong emphasis on both brutality and melody. Their lyrics draw from occultism, horror, mythology, literature and the corruption found throughout human history.

After releasing their debut demo in 2019 and the Eidolon in the Flames single in 2021, Olkoth unleashed their first full-length, At the Eye of Chaos, through Everlasting Spew Records in May 2023. Across eight tracks, the album delivers a fierce and atmospheric vision of blackened death metal, combining relentless aggression with a dark, mystical edge.
