Octa Circa is the ongoing project of songwriter Che Thomas, originally formed in Cambridge, United Kingdom in 2002.

Having begun as a rock band writing and playing covers, various members came and went to the extent that only Thomas exists from the original line-up, writing and recording independently under the Octa Circa moniker. The style of music produced has shifted away from the alternative rock of the bands beginning, towards a more instrumental, post-rock sound.

In 2011 Thomas relocated to Gothenburg, Sweden where he continues to write and produce music.
