Artist Detailed Info: Nicollen

Nicollen was founded by James Shelby and Anthony Dominguez and started as a simple progressive project recording with local talent in 2002. Eventually they took on other permanent members and formed the band known as Nicollen. Nicollen proceeded to go through numerous line-up changes, alternating between several drummers, guitar players, and even trying out a lead singer. In the end, It was Anthony Dominguez on guitar, James Shelby on bass/vox, Andrew Stone on guitar/vox, and the late Brian Carmicheal on drums that solidified Nicollen's line-up. Although this was by far their strongest line-up, the band fell apart due to the members own personal conflicts and struggles. Primarily, this was Brian Carmicheal's struggle with cancer, which eventually took his life.
Despite the tragic turmoil that eventually ripped the band apart, they enjoyed a small following in the short time they had to construct their unique sonic architecture. It was apparent in a very short time that Nicollen had the chemistry needed to create something wonderful.
Nicollen still holds a large heavy nostalgic value to their fans, and their music remains for new listener's to experience.
