Modulators was a Neue Deutsche Welle band from Kiel, founded in 1980 by Ture Rückwardt and Karl-Heinz Eckert. The band also counted as members Michael Hädrich, Ilona Rückwardt, Heino R., Manfred Fox, Norbert Ziermann. In 1983, the band changed of name to become FEX.
