Artist Detailed Info: Maximium

Jay Freitag aka Maximium is a Music Producer and DJ. In the mid 90's he lead many bands playing a variety of genres. In 1999 he started writing lyrics and producing his own music. Maximium soon found himself in a studio downtown St. Paul and a strong interest the Minneapolis club scene. It only took a year before he landed a DJ gig at a weekly event called Plush taking place at The Quest (now known as Epic.) Sound in Motion was the promoter of this event as well as many others that Maximium has been involved with. Jay was affiliated with a warehouse that housed 25 studios. He served as the caretaker and remodeled several studios in the building as he is also a carpenter/ construction worker. Maximium's studios have resided in several rooms of this building in the Midway until he moved on to his new location in uptown Minneapolis. Today his focus has shifted from DJing clubs to defining a whole new variety of music and once again reinventing himself and his sound.
