Best known for his warm, alternative R&B sound-- 22 year-old Malcolm “Todd” Hobert hails from Los Angeles and is an up-and-coming lovesick musician.

Initially starting with a small community of fans, he began advertising on TikTok and had a breakthrough with his single Art House. While being significantly popular, it was overshadowed by the success of an advertisement for his then-unreleased track, Roommates. 3 videos teasing the song drew over 2 million views each. While it wasn’t new for his videos to reach millions, it skyrocketed him-- going from thousands of listeners to a million monthly.

Malcolm released two EPs, Demos Before Prom and Shower Shoes, in 2022 and 2023. He released his first mixtape, Sweet Boy in April 2024, followed by his debut studio album, Malcolm Todd, a year later.
