Artist Detailed Info: Maantis

maantis is the monicker of experimental, Italian-born, musician Christopher Warman. Started as a side project to his then-band GlassKnuckles, the project quickly evolved into a full fledged standalone act. Soon after GlassKnuckles disbanded, maantis released his first album, The Proletariat: a collection of six experimental and electronic tracks conceived during the first half of 2014. DEFICIT EP, a short collection of rejected tracks, soon followed, showcasing a harsher and darker sound. After releasing both works, maantis kept writing and experimenting with different genres in his own house in Norman, OK, culminating in the January 2015 release of the full length album Baathe. The twelve track album features catchy tunes, as well as spacey sounds, quick changes in pace, and bizarre interludes.
Since releasing Baathe, maantis has been working on the dream pop and noise pop album "maantis walks down main blowing smoke in your face", set to be released in early summer 2015.
