LoWords is a musical project originating in Santiago, Chile. created by the artist Boros (Marcelo Sebastian Quezada Fuentes). LoWords begins between the years 2013 / 2015 while Boros was part of a progressive Rock-Metal band, formed during 2008. while he was developing as a cinematography student at the University of Arts, Sciences and Communication. better known as UNIACC. In that period, Boros already made experimental style musical compositions, some of his pre-LoWords works can be found on SoundCloud under the name Sebastián B.

Boros is a multidisciplinary artist. Although during that period, since 2010, his artistic activities were always more focused on photography, experimental music and the writing of poems and philosophical and existential essays. So when LoWords was contemplated for the first time as an artistic idea, it was intended to be a kind of musical complement to his poems and photographs. Therefore LoWords was contemplated as a project that could be developed within the trip-hop musical genre... following influences such as Massive Attack, Portishead and Tricky mainly. but Boros' musical Alma-Matter has always been Nu-Metal (Slipknot, Deftones, Korn, Mudvayne, Static X, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Coal Chamber, Disturbed, Mushroom Head, P.O.D, Papa Roach, S.O.A.D, A Perfect Circle.. etc) and following Industrials bands too, like Rammstein, NIN, Marilyn Manson, Oomph between many others.. During that period and process of creative contemplation, Boros participated as a photographer for a developing band (2008 - 2015), which was made up of one of his college classmates and his friends. Shortly after, Boros joined that band as a musician. in charge of making experimental and ambient sounds with samplers. That band was looking for an identity and a style. and they focused on progressive rock and metal.. Therefore during that entire period of time (2013-2015), LoWords was just an idea and something occasional. During this years Boros was delved deeply into post-rock and post-metal style music... following bands like Leech, Spoiwo, pg.Lost, Long Distance Calling, TotoRro, Tides for Nebula, Lost in Kiev, God is an Astronaut, 65Daysofradiostatic.. among many others. In 2015 the first LoWords musical record was made. with the participation of some of the band members they were previously developing. that demo was called Nocturno.. Nocturno is strongly marked by trip-hop, Noir Jazz and Post-Rock. This year, Boros listen Ulver (Perdition City) for the first time.. and Ulver is a very special chapter on his Life. one very revealing and transcendental.. but one also very dark... (The beginning of Dark Night of the Soul).

At the end of 2015, his relationships with his bandmates become dark and confusing.. for everyone. until finally in 2016 relations broke up and everyone followed their own path. For years to come, Boros continues his solo musical development, with LoWords more present than ever on his mind. but during these years, circumstances and conditions became unfavorable and complicated. Boros strongly internalized in Hermeticism since 2013 seeks a spiritual path and starts a new musical project (Sahasrara) leaving LoWords paralyzed for some time. But this new project It remains unfinished and forgotten... only with some quite interesting compositions (Quantum ep.. which includes the songs, primitive sense of a static soul, Nature, breaking the physical World, Quantenverschränkung and Quantenverschränkung feat Cricca).. but that's not what the artist Boros wants to express in that way. For the next years is everything dark for the whole world.. This is when Boros takes back LoWords and the new musical productions begin, already with a very defined LoWords and with more electro nuances and Boros now developing itself in the field of Drawing and animation. This is how the distinctive LoWords image that identifies it on its covers album art was born. at the end of 2023 the first single (Sex) was released as a demo.. and the publication of the first official LoWords album is expected soon (2025).. but prior to the official album, an EP is expected (at the end of 2024) that includes demo versions of the songs Porn as an erotic art, Eyes contact (the first penetration), Sex and Soulcream.. and another ones.
