Relating is accepting who someone is, even if it doesn't quite suit. To do otherwise is to ask someone to be what they are not. If you don't like or can't handle who they are you can a) try and find a way to understand it by asking and wanting to hear the answers or b) go elsewhere. Telling them who they are or how to behave will not work.

'Perhaps it might be important to say, by way of explanation, that I have always, as long as I can remember, been connected more to the infinite and the spiritual than I have the three dimensional world. This has not been an active choice in any way. I have always felt extremely comfortable and at home in the realms of the unlimited and edgeless; hence my difficulty in writing this.
