Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Lingerbliss began in 2003 as a piano and voice duet. By then it received the name of “Obscure Season”, and composition sessions were far away from being productive.
In 2003 we put the project on hiatus in order to fully devote ourselves to Decay of Mankind (gothic metal band, 2003-2008), which consumed too much time and resources as to keep up with both projects at the same time.
With D.o.M. we had great experiences. We got to know the local scene, other bands from the genre, people who taught us many important things. We also had the opportunity to play as support act of internationally recognized bands as Anathema, Lacrimosa and Within Temptation.
In 2008, Decay of Mankind got dissolved, after almost five years of history. The disharmony between different expectations and visions about the project’s horizon led to its dissolution, and so its members split ways.
As soon as this happened, Anathema and I (Lucille) decided to resume our old ideas set aside in 2003. We renamed the band as “Lingerbliss”.
In May 2008 we started searching for the rest of the crew we needed to complete the line-up. Ripp (Andrés Giuffre) took charge of the guitar, followed by Ézan (Ezequiel Challier) in bass, and Ludwik (Luis Argañaraz) sat behind the drums at last. By November 2008 the line-up was happily closed.
In March 2012 Ludwik left Lingerbliss to pursue a new goal, in his need to explore different musical styles and immersed in his new project.
In October of the same year, after several months of searching for the right candidate, Agustín Traverso joined in and took the role of drummer.
