Born and raised in the Netherlands. Lars Lenselink popularly known as Lerrie found his calling as a Beatmaker in his late teens.
Lerrie has come a long way since he first started making beats in 2007. Still waiting for the release of his first project, the SoulReal Ep, dropping late 2009/begin 2010.

Using nothing more then, FL Studio 9, Adobe Audition, a couple of vst's and a bunch of high quality soul or jazz samples, Lerrie has found a way to create entertaining music with using the least amount of resources. Lerrie refuses to dumb down his music and is set out to create hip hop that lasts in the long run. To do this Lerrie decided to take it back to the days when artists like A Tribe Called Quest was at the peak of their fame.

Lerrie’s upcomming Ep entitled “SoulReal Ep” can be described as a smooth mix between jazzy/soul and hardcore HipHop music that both entertain and makes you think at the same time. The Ep will contain of 10 tracks, which are all going to be produced by Lerrie featuring 10 different Mc's, and will be dropping end of this year/begin of the next year.

Lerrie isn't giving his beats to everyone, because lately he has realized that he has actually given away beats way
too much for nothing. ''I have about 20 - 30 beats just floating around
somewhere since the artist never used the beat he wanted from me, If you want to use a beat, you've got to show your skills, your passion and the love for the beat''.
