
Working for 4 years on ITV’s ‘Heartbeat’ and going on the win the Live & Unsigned 2009 Exposure Award, Leeds based Singer/Songwriter Leesa Mae has continued to go from strength to strength.
Confident songstress Leesa Mae, from Kippax in Leeds, is taking successful steps to becoming an accomplished Singer/Songwriter with the release of her debut EP: 'Love - Eternity'.
Enriched with her enchanting voice & infectious, funky, acoustic pop melodies, 'Love - Eternity' was produced and recorded at Audio Cooker Studios in Leeds due to Leesa winning the Live & Unsigned 2009 Exposure Award, a prize which included paid studio time.
Leesa has spent the majority of the summer months letting her musical juices flow within the Studio in Leeds, setting down her much-awaited debut EP with the backing of a full band.
The tracks on ‘Love - Eternity’ feature an array of snazzy memorable pop hooks along with captivating, seductive vocals and harmonies. Most of which were loved songs requested to be recorded by fans and followers of Leesa Mae’s music and guarantee to leave the listeners humming for days afterwards.
Leesa Mae, with her band, incorporated some unusual percussion additions whilst creating the music for her tracks. One in particular features a pair of stepladders, an oil filled radiator and even a septic tank. See if you can spot which track on the EP this is!
With the aid of her acoustic guitar, Leesa writes her own material gaining influences from musicians including Daniel Merriweather, KT Tunstall, Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch and Jason Mraz.
Leesa Mae’s EP, entitled ‘Love – Eternity’ is now on general release.
