Artist Detailed Info: Konfront

Konfront is a Norwegian industrial band, formed in 2004. They made their first appearance on the OSF-compilation CD the same year with the song "Fimbulvetr", which reached some popularity and play with the Bariuz-remix.

They continued to publish music online and play concerts through 2005 before a brief hiatus and a change of lineup in 2006. Konfront then returned for a few shows, including warming up for the Norwegian artist Mortiis. Their first full length album, "Rettergang", was released in 2008 as a downloadable album and is still available from iTunes.

In 2013, Konfront is back with a second full length album, "Vindtid, vargtid", which is released on CD as well as on iTunes on November 29th.

In terms of musical style, Konfront has moved from a purely electronical approach to a more black metal-influenced style on their latest release. Industrial influences and use of synthesizers is still distinctly present, though.
