Artist Detailed Info: Kinfusion

"KINFUSION, a rap duo out of Detroit, turned to music as a way to survive. Their name is a reference to their relationship as cousins as well as to the confusion that surrounds them. James :Flip” Griffin could have been caught up in the drama of life on the street but he followed another path. He had always dreamed of rapping for a living and had been writing songs since he was 16. Now, at 20, he is seeing his dreams turn into reality. Lake “Dolla” Bates has a good two years in his cousin, Flip. Streetwise and directed, Dolla says his name emphasizes his focus on the green bottom line. The two’s straightforward, no bullshit attitude is what got them noticed."
