John Turrell is a soul/blues singer/writer from Newcastle, England. He is the lead singer with Smoove & Turrell but has also worked with various artists such as Ashley Beedle, Kraak & Smaak, James Taylor Quartet, Featurecast & others.
Furthermore John is the lead singer for "The Fantasy Funk Band", compiled by BBC's Craig Charles, who head lined Glastonbury Revelers Stage in 2010.

John Turrell has released one solo album to date (2013), titled "The Kingmaker" & produced by Nick Faber.
