In early 1990, he started as a DJ in a club in Chiba prefecture. He formed a production team with fellow rapper DELI called AQUARIUS. He also worked with Namie Amuro's hip-hop project SUITE CHIC. In 2005, he finally made his debut as a solo artist named JHETT / a.k.a. YAKKO for AQUARIUS. To date, he has released two singles featuring Koda Kumi and Sowelu. His debut album worked with the likes of LISA, Namie Amuro, MICHICO, and the Heartsdales.
