Imploded View is a moniker under which one Jerome McCormick creates atmospheric and ethereal downtempo electronic music. Realising that imperfections often enhance character, he currently utilises various old pieces of hardware, including but not limited to old reel-to-reels, cassettes, and old synths; to achieve his rhythmic, textured and evocative soundscapes. On his debut album the producer showcases a collection of lush Ambient/Downtempo tracks alongside more beat driven pieces that fans of Boards of Canada & Ulrich Schnauss will thoroughly enjoy.
