Artist Detailed Info: Ignu

A madman and a saint. Buddha and a tramp. Sleeps in a different bed every night. Seeks for enlightment and salvation. Every Ignu recognizes another. Jan recognized Cyryl, David recognized Lubosz. They recognized each other somewhere at the eastern downtown of the city of Warsaw. They've come together in 2015. The band's name is inspired by work of American writers from 1950's of the Beat Generation, in particular that of Alan Ginsberg as they share his love for mysticism, Orient, Buddhism and artistic independence. Ignu is a personification of lifestyle of the Beats. The group consists of four friends - Cyryl Skiba occupying the percussion, David Condis y Troyano playing the bass, Jan Szege on guitar and Lubosz Majewski singing. Without missing the deep, heavy psyche Ignu pleases our ears with its alternative rock sound. Debut album"Lightningflash Flintspark" was recorded at Mandragora Studio, which has also worked with artists such as Edyta Górniak or Monika Brodka. Man in charge of the single's production Grzegorz Mukanowski is also responsible for works of Kasia Stankiewicz, Fonetyka, Anti Tank Nun, Titus Tommy Gunn and Disperse.
