Artist Detailed Info: Hradmachine

HRADMACHINE is the musical collaboration of Samuel Overington and Flavian Alaigre. We are a sound collective, and though we are the primary artists, we are often accompanied by other musicians and sound artists. HRADMACHINE (originally under the name PNEU!) formed in 2010 because of our similar musical interests, and our wish to emulate them.
Within our amplified sets, we use an amp and loop machine to create a mixture of live percussion and repetitions, electronic drones and sequences - multi-layers of sound and sometimes playing on top of ourselves.
In our acoustic sets, we explore the rhythm and melody of arbitrary objects such as pots and pans, bicycle wheels, paint tins, metal bars as well as body percussion to make eclectic percussive music.
