Hellbutcher is a Swedish black/thrash/speed metal band formed in 2023 by legendary underground vocalist Per “Hellbutcher” Gustavsson following the end of his seminal old-school black metal band Nifelheim (active 1990–2022). Driven by a mission to uphold the raw, feral spirit of metal in its most primal forms, Hellbutcher fuses blistering black metal ferocity with thrash and speed-laden riffing, crafting a sound steeped in blasphemy, intensity, and relentless energy.
