Artist Detailed Info: Ghostwitch

Ghostwitch is the solo project of singer Ryan Gunwitch-Black. Born in Tallahahassee, FL and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Gunwitch-Black has been surrounded by music his entire life. He spent time as a child in his uncle's recording studio and adjacent guitar shop watching his father record and play guitar. These experiences in the late '70's informed his love for vintage instruments and bare bones recordings.
Ryan Gunwitch-Black records and produces all of his Ghostwitch work and his love of all things raw and on the verge of falling apart is at the forefront of his sound.

Ghostwitch could best be described as Outlaw Country but the term might not be broad enough to encompass all that the Witch does.
His version of the Blues and Country are flavored with plenty of Punk and Metal with something of an old-school industrial sentiment.

Ghostwitch is also the name of a collaboration project between Zachary Garren and the JCW, having released their EP 'spooky stories' on their bandcamp in early 2012.
