"Ghost Empty" is an atmospheric dark ambient, drone ambient project, was formed in autumn in Ukraine (Kiev), the author drew inspiration for the creation of the project from the Old Woman moss. Over time, he began to continue his activities in Russia, namely in the city of Fryazino (Moscow region), he liked the history of this city, namely the musical history, after 2 years he left for Moscow itself, where he began to continue writing music. The author was interested in esotericism, often went to the forest and recorded samples there. The author uses a guitar, field recordings, and a synthesizer to create music. Vladislav Maltsev, the founder of the project, committed suicide on October 3, 2018, and his sister Victoria Hoshizora continues the project.

The goal of the project was to make music about our world and the other, a mirror that reflects all the moments of our lives: the hum of forests that rises around, a misty lonely autumn that gradually takes us into its past, the rustle of grasses and the gnashing of old trees, the mysticism of lakes and rivers, forgotten trails that lead us to abandoned villages, the cold wind of winter which envelops us in moments of loneliness. Fear and darkness of different places, music characterized by the styles of dark ambient, ritual ambient, drone ambient, horror ambient.

The project decided to make music of different themes in different ambient subgenres. The author describes his project as cold and dark in this world. A strong oppressive atmosphere takes you to a variety of places.Everything that surrounds us is a mystery that the musician displays . The musician has published his material on many well-known labels, including Noctivagant, Cephalopagus Records, Kalpamantra, and GV Sound.

In 2017, the label Cephalopagus Records was created, in which Ghost Empty decided to participate in its creation and development, the founder of the label was Araphel, a horror ambient project from the USA.

At the moment, the project has moved away from the previous theme, which is proved by the album "Cтихиалии"
