Artist Detailed Info: Gears

There are at least two U.S. bands called Gears or The Gears. Gears is a multicultural band created in Marblehead, Massachusetts during the year 2006 with a penchant for "indie," "folk" and "pop" sounds. They have released an EP and a full-length album. Band members include Brown Bear, Fox in the Snow, White Shadow and Brian Leahy.

In the Los Angeles punk scene of the late 1970s, The Gears were an early standout, including drummer DJ Bonebrake, later of X, and Belinda Carlisle, later of the Go-Gos.
