Fissures is the name of Boise, Idaho music-maker Dale W. Eisinger’s solo project. Eisinger contributed to many Boise bands - In The Shadow Of The Mountain, Kill The Train, I Shot Them, Oxen, ATTN, Frank Neon, Fighting Bears By Hand - before relocating to New York City last year. While working as a beat reporter in the city, Eisinger put the finishing touches on his debut LP, Ambervision. His music straddles many genres - from hip-hop to hardcore, gamelan to drone - without ever losing a central theme. His backgrounds in classical, symphonic, jazz, punk, rock, experimental, and rudimental music informs Eisinger's aesthetic as much does the soul-shuddering asphalt ring of the streets. Ambervision was composed, recorded, produced, and mixed by Eisinger over the last 1.5 years, resulting in something frenetic and meditative, a dichotomy of despair and joy running throughout the entire 53 minute, 14-track release.
Fissures is also an ambient / drone project from New Jersey in the United States.
Fissures is also an instrumental post-black metal act from UK.
