Artist Detailed Info: Epeus Reichenback

Born and raised in Shetland, but long resident in Ireland, the artist now known as Epeus Reichenback has morphed from a weird array of incarnations - from playing in a punk-rock band (The Flourescent Hedgehogs), to experimenting with Cabs influenced industrial noise and drone (mainly under the moniker Eksis Girs), to current membership of various jazz ensembles, via stints in theatre pit orchestras, in ceilidh-type bands, accompanying fading CnW stars, and sundry other dubious events which are now best forgotten.

Epeus is still haunted by a dream in which Miles Davis' 'Guinevere' fused with Morton Feldman's 'Coptic Light', in a Martin Hannett production re-processed by D'n'B vigilantes. He continues his quest, through the tundra, to retrieve that epiphanic sound...
