Ellevec, aka Evan LeCompte, has been DJing since the explosion of turntablism in the early 2000s. Years of lugging crates of vinyl, hosting a college radio show and rocking house parties lead to a steady stream of performance and club gigs under the handle DJ Cre8.

Ellevec bridges the gap between party rocking DJ skills and multiple genre production. Ellevec has recently shared the stage with Super Mash Bros, Skratch Bastid, Cosmo Baker, John Creamer and DJ Mini. Two recent releases on Slanted Black will be followed up by an EP in the summer of 2012.
