Artist Detailed Info: Ekwon

The idea of establishing the EKWON band was brought up with writing an instrumental track by “Amir Mohamadi” guitarist of band in 2008. After Amir left “Scox” band, he met “Mohamad Rostamian” and they started the “EKWON” project. Then “Kiomars Talebi” who was an old friend of Mohamad was added to the band as a bassist in 2013.
Two month later “Saleh Rezaei” was selected as a vocalist. During these times, Amir was writing songs for the first album.
Band started playing by adding drummer named “Mahdiyar Rostamian” who is brother of Mohamad. After 1 year practice, Kiomars and Mahdiyar left the band and then “Hossein Zahedi” who was past drummer in “Scox” band, joined EKWON.
One month later, EKWON completed line-up with “Amir Bonakdar” as bassist and they started record for their first album. When first album was recorded, “Amir Bonakdar” left EKWON and “Mahdiyar Masoudi” took his place in band.

EKWON band are active with base style of Death Metal and the first EKWON’s album “Born in Shroud, Dead in Womb” now ready for listen.

They’re practicing hard and getting ready for their live shows and second album.
