Do The Undo

Do The Undo was a short-lived indie band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, formed by Anne Soldaat, the former guitar player and songwriter of Daryll-Ann.

After Daryll-Ann's 2004 split, Soldaat formed a new group with former Daryll-Ann-bassist Dick Brouwer, Hallo Venray drummer Henk Jonkers, and keyboard player/pianist Matthijs Van Duijvenbode.

Do The Undo released one (self-titled) studio album (2007), to much criticial acclaim. After touring duties with Do The Undo, Anne Soldaat pursued a career under his own name, with various backing bands. The eponymous Do The Undo album is now generally seen (and listed on streaming platforms) as the first Anne Soldaat 'solo' album. The band name Do The Undo is no longer in use: Soldaat has called it 'unfortunate' on several occasions

The name of the band is often spelled as Do-The-Undo (in fact, it leads a parallel life as such here on Last.fm). Even the band's record label, Excelsior Recordings, tend to use the Do-The-Undo spelling. The name on the sleeve of the band's only album is, however, Do The Undo (no 'dashes').
