Born to musicians, father jazz and mother gospel musician, dNessa's introduction to life was through song. Performing contemporary to classical music, her career has spanned from North America to Asia blending together a diverse and unique expression of what we call MUSIC. As an independent artist and composer, a variety of performances have enhanced and broaden her range in pursuit of a phenomenal music career.

Talents include composing lyrics and vocal arrangements for commercial jingles such as Sony Vaio, Nestea and Kirin Fire Coffee, featuring Stevie Wonder and Pokeman TV series. Other recordings and or compositions include projects for Dancemania and with Japanese artist such as Morning Musume, Japanese Soul Legend Masayuki Suzuki, Equal and Tekeshi Nakatsuka, to name a few. dNessa has also performed with legendary musicians including Cab Calloway, Theodore Marcus "Teddy" Edwards, Larry Von Nash, Carl Burnett, Roy Hargrove, George Clinton and the late Robert Palmer.
