One solitary figure, John Sutherland, is the man behind the musically deranged madness. Who knows the what’s, where’s and why’s that dictate our chosen life paths, music has just always been a subject in which I’ve excelled. During 1996, the school I was attending decided to pay for me to record a track previously performed in a school assembly!

Over the years, I’ve hosted weekly prime time shows on many pirate and internet radio stations, and held various bi-monthly residencies playing Trance, Hard House, Drum & Bass, UK Hardcore and Old Skool. Once of my ambitions was fulfilled in 2004, after entering a national DJ competition by event promoters: ‘Hardcore Heaven’. I played 5am-6am, Arena 3, at legendary venue ‘The Sanctuary’, Milton Keynes.

2002 saw me attend ‘The Academy of Contemporary Music’ (ACM), (thanks to Alpha9 Records), studying in the Producer & Engineer disciplines. I earned 5 distinctions & 3 Merits in the finals. 2004-2007: Took a well earned break to focus my attention elsewhere. June 2005, I relocated from London to North East Scotland. 2007 saw me return to the music scene, more focused and determined than ever before. ‘Distorted Science’ was born.

I'm also Mastering Engineer/A&R for Knock Out Records and Bubblectro Records..
