Artist Detailed Info: Dilation

There are at least two artists with the same name:

1) DiLATiON
aka Tom Roberts, Cedric von Flugel, Dialed.
Tyneside, UK.

Started making music in 1988, after being inspired by his uncle's collection of analogue synths, and being introduced to the early House and Acid House in the mid to late eighties (Humanoid, Bam Bam, Mr. Fingers, Fast Eddie et al). From there he moved to Amiga trackers, appearing on Network FM radio in 1996 performing a live 'Amiga + FX' set.

Focus moved more to live performances in 2005 (North East UK) where DiLATiON quickly became known for his energetic, improvised, live acid performances; ranging from happy-go-lucky Acid House through to darker, harder-edged Techno.

DiLATiON appears on Hypnohouse Trax, Carbon Stained Records and ISIGTUTEOT labels.

2) A experimental rock band from New Jersey.
