Digital Nova is a French nu metal/hardcore band from Marseille. The band currently consists of vocalist François Le Goazigo, guitarist Jean Baptiste Caysac, bassist Mathieu Dubois and drummer Stayff Silmar.
Taking their influence from Deftones, Korn, and French bands such as Lofofora and Mass Hysteria, they released their first EP "Oxygène" in 2010 as a free download on Bandcamp. In 2013, they released their first album "Alpha Omega", evolving their hardcore sound with more melodic elements and aspects of electronic music. With increased touring in support of the album, the band gained further exposure within the French alternative scene, and were signed by NFFP Records.
2016 saw Digital Nova release their first album on NFFP Records, "Orphelins". Stripping away the hardcore influences and leaning further towards nu metal, "Orphelins" saw the band further increase their reputation in France and abroad.
