Artist Detailed Info: Diaryba

Diaryba is a South Bohemian crossover/alternative rock band from Holubov, Czech Republic formed in 1999. Original lineup consisted of Francis (vocals), Mike (guitar), Radouš (bass), Tom (saxophone), Mára (ex-drummer). They started as a high school band in late 90s and after a reunion they played several concerts in the area (e.g. with Landmine Spring and L'Point) and recorded a demo album Do všech stran in 2003. They went on hiatus soon after.
Diaryba reunited again in spring 2008 with a new drummer Milánek and started performing on South Bohemian stages. In June 2009, Diaryba was joined by a female singer Dana and has got six members now. They started working on new material in the summer 2009.
After Radouš called it quits, Roman joined the band. The new line up played some gigs together and recorded a single song called Noc, but soon after, in March 2010, Roman died in a car accident and Milánek left the band. Diaryba decided to go on after a few months, recruiting a new bassplayer Jirka Kejšar of Magma and drummer Kejshi.
