Artist Detailed Info: Delsondrive

Formed in October 2004, Delsondrive is a band from Montreal (Canada) that quickly got noticed through mp3 listening sites and many shows throughout the province. They performed at the Vans Warped Tour in 2005 and at Taste of Chaos in 2007 in Montreal. Their songs have been played often during online radio shows such as the Punk Rock Show on 4Q Radio and The Captain & Caseys Show on Fuel TV. They shared the stage with bands such as The Used, 30 Seconds To Mars, Saosin, Aiden, Hedley, Ten Second Epic, The Junction, Roses are Red, Shotgun Rules and Mugshot to name a few.

The first EP of Delsondrive has rapidly sold among all ages crowd. Completely self produced, this independent release (March 2006) marked the starting point of a journey that so far as been worth the trip for them and their fans.

In fact, "A Penny for a Ride" had already sold more than 1000 copies 6 months only after its release in late March 2006. These numbers are very impressive considering that the majority of these sales were made only in Quebec and without the help of any distributor. For the past 4 months, the band has been focusing on touring intensively outside of Quebec (Ontario, New-Brunswick, Nova-Scotia) where they were acclaimed by their new audiences.

Lately, they've been working on some new material that have been very well received by their fans and the industry. The release of a first full-length effort is planned sometimes soon...
