celebrating the first anniversary of the birth of a-gaze...
*a-gaze: a fusion of extremely amateurish shoegaze, akiba-pop-inspired sentimentality and the eclecticism of shibuya-kei.

daydrop are a shoegaze/self-proclaimed shibuya-kei unit active in tokyo. there are three members (a college freshman, an old ibook and a girl who lives in the display of the ibook), and together, they try to fuse the unique pop music and culture of akihabara with the dreamy guitars of shoegaze. they are also influenced quite a bit by madchester and neo-acoustic groups.

2008/8/15 debut ep "yumeutsutsu ep" released. contains 6 songs.
2008/12/25 second ep "holidaydrop ep" released. contains 4 songs.
2009/2/11 "tomorrow forever" and "caramel box" from the "yumeutsutsu ep" received airplay on canadian radio station the x http://www.tru.ca/radio8/
