Crownd

CROWND was a New Jersey, USA Christian rock band "Known for its live and in-your face original songs." The band traces its roots back to 2000 when David Diaz (Guitarist), Albert Denis (Bassist), Ariel Munoz (Drummer) began Friday night jam sessions. Eventually the trio began to seek a singer causing Ariel Munoz to contact future lead singer Alfred Batista who agreed to join the group. In 2001 CROWND was officially formed.

In 2003 after having grown their fanbase playing multiple venues throughout New Jersey, CROWND won a record deal with Level Six Recordings from a competition in Nashville, TN. Also in 2003 CROWND was invited to create the soundtrack for the computer game Titans Of Steel Warring Suns by Matrix Games. Included with the game disc was a copy of the bands Lost & Found EP containing full versions of the songs on which the games soundtrack was based.

In late 2004 CROWND released their first and only album "Find Me." After the albums release the band announced their next project known as Firestarter which they intended to be completed by 2005. In 2005 Alfred Batista passed suddenly and unexpectedly, although the band was eventually joined by new singer John Fitzpatrick the band became inactive at some point in 2005.

The bands official website is no longer active however information and songs can still be streamed from their MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/crowned
