Formed in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley and currently living in a time machine, Craters started in mid-2011 as a guitar and drums duo with Johann Arango on guitar/vox and Frank Gutierres on drums. After a couple months of writing and jamming with friends the humble project quickly grew into a four piece group playing a distinctly Southern Californian mix of 60's garage, psych and freakbeat sounds.

Today, with Culen Jensen on bass/vox and Elvis Galvez on lead guitar cementing the band's exciting sound, Craters are preparing to release their first full-length album LOW TIDE LOVER this Summer through the Echo Park-based Lolipop Records label.

Our lyrics voice the dissatisfaction many of us share regarding the society we live in today.
Reinstating the fact the people are allowed to think freely and voice their opinions, as it
is our right to do so, along with strengthening our connections with our inner beings
as well as realizing the potential of the human race. We stress the importance of
learning from experiences and allowing our dreams to be inspiration.
