Artist Detailed Info: Completely Random

Completely Random is and indie-punk band from Duluth, Minnesota, made up of three 14 year olds. They are influenced by the local music scene, with all the little bluegrass duos and such floating around and playing coffee shops, and then by more mainstream stuff like Guided By Voice and Nirvana.

They were started back in 2003 when guitarist J.J. Sivak met up with Jack Campbell and they started writing music in 3rd grade about quirky topics such as elephants' expeditions to the moon and love from the perspective of a small person. This past year, 2008, they found a bassist named Sam Wattrus, who made the duo a band, and they started playing shows around their hometown in coffee houses and colleges.

Now they've made an collection of 9 songs recorded on an iMac computer in Sivak's living room (and over two hundred written), and are using indie means to give their demo to just about everyone.
