Cloudsform is a music project of Tomas Farkas. He uses guitars, flutes and other instruments, as well as a lot of field recording to create his music. His music could be described as ambient, drone, meditative, dreamy, nature - influenced and warm.

Album Paintings was finished in May 2012. Its a collection of five songs and with its timing up to 68 minutes. The songs were being created in parallel with their photographic alter egos.

Opening track Snails Are Leaving the Forest is an ambient improvisation.
Mind tuning in a dandelion field is his personal tribute to nature.
Clouds in Eyes, Flowers in Mouth - For Andrea was created for his wife Andrea.
Memories are frozen butterflies is based on his recording of butterfly wings.
“One day during the winter, I found a dying butterfly outside my place – it was nearly completely frozen, but still moving with its wings – making this beautiful sound. I immediately took my directional microphone and recorded this sound from very close distance. You can hear this sound throughout this track,  until the very end of it.”
The last track is Snow. Cloudsform started to work on this track back in the winter of 2009/2010, just a few days after his father died. Additional layers and field recordings were added later.
