Cervi is a rapper originating from the DRC, displaying a versatile talent within his music. From raw, punchy trap beats to melodic, trippy tunes, he enjoys experimenting with his sound according to what he pictures in his mind.

Stefan Makengo grew up often listening to the likes of A$AP Rocky, XXXTentacion, and Young Thug where he then indulged in freestyling over beats to kill some time. It was then, around the age of 14, that he started writing songs in his free time but was unable to produce any tracks due to having no music equipment. It was not until 2022 that he decided to drop his first single 'Takin Time' ,presenting a complementary boom-bap type of vibe similar to Joey Bada$$ of his frame of mind with a touch of his own style. Ideally to him, he was testing the waters to reach the next pinpoint of direction, where he then released 'RUN IT UP' with a raw-underground, punchy mood with speedy rhymes to prove his versatility when it came to creating sub-genres of rap.
