Artist Detailed Info: Blipvert

BlipVert is the moniker/pseudonym of Will Redmond. BlipVert came to the forefront of Will's identity in a small room above an animal hospital in the winter of 2001. Will had been a fan of electronic music all his life, listening to such artists as Skinny Puppy, Ministry, The Future Sound of London, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, The Higher Intelligence Agency, and a host of others. After acquiring a laptop and a small sampler, Will set to work on creating his own personal brand of electronic music.

Will has been a composer and instrumentalist for over fifteen years now and was part of a variety of ensembles from rock to jazz and experimental electronics. He holds two master degrees in teaching and composition and his work has been featured on universities and conservatories.

The music of his soloproject BlipVert combines noise, fractured dancefloor rhythms, robotic vocal chants, and alien soundscapes into a unique collage of sonic mayhem.
