Artist Detailed Info: Blacktip

Blacktip is a thrash metal band from Apex, NC that formed in 2007 when two friends Andrew Starck and Ty Burke got together to jam and bring back the 80's Bay Area style of music.

The two then found drummer Brett Cutler and lead guitarist James Jordan to complete the band.

Blacktip combines the classic Bay Area style with neo-classical and death metal influences to bring the mosh pits back to the music world.

Armed with the release of their debut EP "Feeding Frenzy", look for Blacktip to be thrashing up the triangle.
