
In early 2009 Black Apache dropped the hammer of rock judgement onto the German and American music scenes with a hard hitting, progressive sound and an indie rock'n'roll background that electrified audiences and listeners alike. Their catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and intense vocals combine to create an atmosphere of real, modern rock'n'roll that is impossible to resist.

After debuting with a crowd voted victory at the Local Vision Band Contest in Neuhaus am Rennweg, Germany, they won the Soundcheck Regional Band Contest in Sonneberg. Without breaking stride, the band went on to win the Local Vision State Finals, where they competed against more than forty bands.

Black Apache further expanded their fan-base by shooting and promoting their own music video, garnering them recognition on international television and drawing the praise of major musical acts.

In January 2010 Black Apache was invited to compete in the Termometro Music Festival in Lisbon, Portugal; the largest independent music festival in the country. Competing against bands from across Europe, Black Apache made it into the semi-finals with the only unanimous vote in the fifteen-year history of the festival. The band took the finals, winning in a landslide victory.
After touring in the US and releasing their first EP, entitled Pretty, Money, Envy, they returned to Portugal in January 2011 appearing as both a featured act at the Termometro finals and a musical guest on the hit Portuguese television show Five Till Midnight
They are currently working on the release of their debut album.
