The Japanese Bject was an EAI group, consisting of Masahiko Okura on tubes and alto sax, Tetuzi Akiyama on turntable (without records), contact mic and electric guitar, and Utah Kawasaki on analog synthesizer, cell phone and contact mic. They released 2 albums ("Bject" and "Object 4", in 2002 and 2004 respectively) and have remained inactive since.
