
Bench is at least three groups:
1) Reeling from the toxic fumes emanating from their Brooklyn studio, Anxious Bench became Bench shortly before the turn of the century. On the rare occasion when Bench invaded a professional studio, the brain damaging results were released on the legendary Noiseville label, home also of Skullflower, The Action Swingers, Bootbeast and Unholy Swill. With the death of their guitarist & founding member Bryan Belanoff in 2001, Bench began remastering and re-releasing their rare cassette-only releases of the late 80s on CD, though only their debut Anxious Bench demo was ever reissued.

2) Bench is a side-project of Kris Jenkins, sometime percussionist of Super Furry Animals, who released an album of trip-hop in 2000 called 'Bliss'.
3) Bench are a band from the city of Aberdeen in Scotland. they have now reformed as Katerwaul
4) And there is as well a pop/rock band called Bench form Biel, Switzerland. Their first single "Mr. Young" started to become popular in the beginning of 2010.
