Artist Detailed Info: Basillios

Basillios (born Vasillios son of Achilles, Dec 1980 on a yacht in the waters of Posiedon, Greece) is a self-taught pianist, keyboardist, and composer. Basillios left his homeland at the age of 18 to attend the University of Western Ontario. After receiving a B.Esc. in civil engineering, he would instead seek a life in music though he had no formal training and could not read a note. After playing guitar in local rock bands such as the Supercades, he moved to Vancouver in pursuit of his own sound of keyboard masterpieces. In 2004, he started crafting hip hop tracks with Co-Producer McHardy - together they are known as the Plustones (pronouced Plutones), and have worked with several notable North American mc's.
