Artist Detailed Info: Barabus

I don't know the exacts but I had one Barabus album and don't remember the title. I can remeber only two racks; Hijack (your love) I think and another one called, The Horse.

Barabus's sound was completly different than the music I grew up listening to in northern NJ/NY but their sound also had someting familar, a certain quality that caught ahold of me.

The group consisted of 4 or 5 guys. I think they were european, from Portugal or something. Their sound was unique but as I said before, familar.

I was supprissed one night when I heard a song by them called Hijack your love (or I'm going to hijack your love) at a club in Newark called New Sensations. It also got huge playtime (mixed) at another club in Newark called the Lincoln Motel (later known as Zanzibar).

I've been looking for their music to see if it has held up over the years.
