Artist Detailed Info: Average Andy

Average Andy is a musician from Glasgow. Average Andy creates songs. There is a lot of angst and heart put into the songs. Average Andy doesn't want to limit himself to a genre of music. Average Andy performs live with various other musicians.

Andy started learning how to play guitar at the age of 15. He learned how to actually play around the age of 20. He is not a natural guitarist. He is sloppy as hell. He does come up with some cool melodies on the guitar and occasional "Riffage" which can be confirmed by asking his mates.


Andy started learning to sing at the age of 15. He's still trying to learn how to sing even though everyone has told him he's basically ****. Though they always have been kind enough to use nice words. He's past the point of caring what people think. We only live once.


An average person has repeatedly stated "I'd rather burn out trying to burn bright than never shine at all."


Lyrically Andy has been in and out the teenage angst/I'm obsesed with girls phase since puberty. He will probably remain in this phase until he is short, bald and slabbering (Think baby in reverse thats been left in a bath tub for several weeks. You know? Because of the wrinkles?) He has communication issues. Probably because he is communicative dyslexic. He like's to play around with words. He writes in different genres. The lyrical content has average wit, knowledge and personal opinions. Nothing ground breaking. Although lets face it, the artistic ground has been broken, stomped into dust and then funnelled up a scenesters' spotty nose and **** back out our stereo's speakers. Poor speakers.


The recordings may be rough as a badgers *** as Andy is both lazy and too poor to acquire the proper tools to give his songs the studio gleam.


Andy creates songs that he likes. He would like to achieve artistic merit and commercial success. He doesn't have style. He doesn't want to close off any wings in his creative Andytorium. He can never become a sell out as he is already bought and sold and whored out by the crab bucket, gold fish bowl, cage, system etc. Yadda Yadda.
